    Job Description

    The Warehouse Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all large customer accounts (Key Accounts) are appropriately managed in regard to the customers specific packaging, labeling, and shipping requirements. This also includes proper communication of information to the customers through use of various vendor and 3rd party routing portals. This person will have excellent attention to detail, accurate counting, and data entry skills. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, EDI processing, Excel, and various Barcode software. The person would also be a quick learner, dependable, and enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This logistics coordinator will work Monday through Friday from 6:00am – 2:45pm.
    Position Duties & Requirements

    Logistics

    • Understand and ensure compliance with customer shipping, packing, and labeling requirements
    • Schedule outbound transportation using various 3rd party routing applications with consideration for routing and pickup times
    • Ensure carton and pallet labeling adhere to vendor guidelines
    • Create Bill of Ladings
    • Create customer specific labeling for orders
    • Research inventory, shipping, and order discrepancies and properly communicate the resolution internally and with the external customers
    • Communicate through email and phone with freight companies, routing companies, and customers
    • Review Key Account processes and shipping guidelines and ensure accuracy
    • Create and submit Advanced Ship Notifications with focus on accuracy and efficiency
    • Research vendor compliance violations and identify improvements when necessary

    Warehouse

    • Assist with the picking and packing of key accounts orders and general warehouse duties such as receiving, picking, packing, and shipping orders
    • Assist with regular cycle counting and year end physical inventory

    Training

    • Assist with team development and cross training
    • Teach employees the Key Accounts picking/packing processes when necessary

    Safety & Warehouse Operations

    • Maintains clean and orderly workspaces including keeping pick aisles clear of empty cartons, packing material and other debris, stocking empty boxes in an organized manner at each packing station, empties the trash and recycle bins as needed, sweeps, tidies, and cleans work areas at the of each day.
    • Operates any material handling equipment following established safety guidelines
    • Assists in maintaining the overall organization, security, and safety of the warehouse
    • Work in tandem with various departments and maintain flexible attitude supporting all the work that helps in achieving organizational goals, along with other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 1+ years working in a warehouse environment with shipping responsibilities
    • 1+ year working with customer using EDI is highly desired
    • Ability to perform tasks under pressure with a positive attitude in a deadline driven environment
    • Strong analytical and excellent problem-solving skills
    • Excellent verbal as well as written communication skills
    • High attention to detail with the willingness to learn, adapt and improve processes & procedures
    • Ability to instruct and lead others to complete the assigned tasks
    • Ability to be trained and certified on forklift operations
    • Ability to manage time effectively, as they may need to handle multiple functions to consistently meet deadlines
    • Proficient computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office programs and ability to learn ERP and WMS systems
    • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and be able to stand for long periods of time
    • High School diploma required

This is position is located in Broomfield, Colorado and will work Monday through Friday from 6:00am – 2:45pm. The pay range for this role is $20.00 - $22.00 per hour.
