    The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities

    Job Summary

    SML Medical Supplies is a supplier of medical, surgical and pharmaceutical products to hospitals, nursing homes, HME providers, surgery centers, physician offices and home care/hospice settings. Due to continued growth we are in need of energetic and motivated Warehouse Operator to join our team. The Warehouse Operator is an integral part of our team’s success. Our Warehouse Operators are responsible for operating machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials around a facility for shipping, processing and receiving. This might include unloading, scanning, moving, staging, loading, locating, picking, relocating, and stacking product.

    Responsibilities

    Process incoming shipments in a neat and organized fashion

    This might include unloading, scanning, moving, staging, loading, locating, picking, relocating, and stacking products Catalogues, records, and organizes materials received at the warehouse

    Operates hand truck, cart, doilies, forklift, order-picker, and walkie to transport items

    Maintain a clean and safe work area

    Pull stock to fulfill and prepare orders for shipping

    Ensure orders are accurate and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction

    Inspect incoming shipments for any damages, defects, or errors

    Adhere to all health and safety guidelines

    Qualifications

    High school diploma/GED is preferred

    Ability to speak, read, and write English with proficiency

    Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos

    Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, lift for extended periods daily.

    Previous experience working in a warehouse setting is preferred

    Ability to use warehouse equipment, including forklift, pallet jacks, and hand trucks

    Capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects

    Ability to work with limited supervision

    Excellent organizational and time management skills
