    Job Summary

    National Microchip is a growing leader in aerospace, aviation, and defense parts distribution. For over 15 years, we have proudly supplied the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, Boeing, General Atomics, DART, and many more.

    We are seeking a candidate to join our team. This role is responsible for inspecting, verifying, and documenting incoming and outgoing products to ensure compliance with company and industry quality standards. The position plays a critical role in maintaining customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and the integrity of our supply chain.

    Responsibilities

    Inspect incoming materials, parts, and components for accuracy, damage, and compliance with specifications.

    Verify certifications, lot numbers, and traceability per aerospace and aviation standards.

    Conduct quality checks on outgoing shipments prior to delivery.

    Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.

    Collaborate with sales, procurement, and warehouse staff to resolve discrepancies.

    Assist with compliance requirements under AS9120/ISO quality management systems.

    Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of products in accordance with aerospace standards.

    Support warehouse operations during high-volume periods when needed.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or technical training preferred.

    1+ year of warehouse, inspection, or quality control experience (aviation/aerospace industry preferred).

    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    Familiarity with AS9120, ISO 9001, or similar quality systems a plus.

    Ability to read and interpret part numbers, certifications, and technical documentation.

    Basic computer skills; experience with CRM systems preferred.

    Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a warehouse environment.
