ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Warehouse Sales Representative to grow our hazmat certified, warehousing services in the Newark, NJ market. This role is responsible for both new business development and management of existing client accounts, primarily serving small to mid-market businesses.
You will manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting and lead generation to proposal development, contract negotiation, and ongoing account growth. Working directly with the President, you will play a key role in expanding market presence while ensuring exceptional service delivery in collaboration with operations.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Drive revenue growth by identifying, targeting and closing new warehousing opportunities.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Increase profitability by identifying cross-sell opportunities within existing clients.
- Service as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients.
- Collaborate closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service execution.
- Contribute to local market expansion and brand visibility within the Newark, NJ region.

QUALIFICATIONS THAT ARE IMPORTANT
- 2 to 5 years of sales experience in 3PL, logistics, freight or warehousing.
- Proven ability to generate new business and manage client accounts.
- Strong understanding of supply chain and warehousing operations
- Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Self motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
