Job Overview:
Filta Wearhouse Service Technicians play a critical role in maintaining, preserving and fixing all tools and equipment necessary for a smooth, efficient and effective job completion of our Filta field Technicians. Your primary tasks are to clean, repair and maintain company equipment and have them ready and in optimal functioning conditions for the field technician’s use.
Key Expectations:
Dump and clean out the holding tanks on the vans
Cleaning of the interior on the vans
Ensure the space parts container is filled
Inventory of truck supplies
Inventory supplies and create the reorder list
Report on tools consistently out of stock
Fixing equipment
Preventative maintenance (using a log sheet)
Fixing the broken down parts
Report if specific equipment consistently has issues /broken
Drop Filta Vans off for maintenance
Track van fleet maintenance
Maintain warehouse cleaning i.e. floors, working surfaces etc.
Weekly van check i.e. Tires, wipers, lights, oil, check equipment inside, ramp check and keep bolts tightened
Ratchet straps in each van.
Education and Requirements:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. minimum requirement
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to move and lift heavy equipment
Experience or qualifications in mechanics or machinery repair
Reporting:
Service Technicians are tasked with maintaining and updating a log of all equipment and tools in storage or that are under repair.
Additional Information:
Training will be provided as needed to ensure you are well-equipped to perform your duties effectively.
Compensation: $20/hour
Job Type: Part Time
Working Hours: Will require you to come in 3-4 days a week with working hours being 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
