    Warehouse Specialist (Growth-Focused)

    We’re looking for a motivated, self-starting individual to join our team as a Warehouse Specialist and become a vital part of a fast-growing, highly respected local wholesale bread manufacturer.

    We are a small but growing bakery focused on high-quality bread products . With a dedicated team and strong values, we take pride in doing things the right way while maintaining a supportive, family-oriented work environment.

    Position Overview

    This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within our organization. The position begins with training as a backup delivery route driver, followed by hands-on experience in packaging operations to learn our products, workflow, and team culture.

    As training progresses, you will learn key warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, route building, and inventory control. After completing the initial training phases, you will continue developing skills across all areas of the position at a manageable pace while supporting day-to-day warehouse operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    Pull bread products and prepare orders for daily delivery routes

    Verify and document incoming materials at the dock, including shipment condition, paperwork, exceptions, COA checks, and visual/physical inspections

    Process accurate receiving transactions and maintain inventory records

    Coordinate shipping activities by preparing documentation, scheduling trucking, and tracking shipments

    Build and organize delivery routes to ensure accurate and timely distribution

    Generate daily counts and maintain records for end-of-day reporting

    Maintain a clean and compliant work area in accordance with food manufacturing regulations

    Follow and adhere to all OSHA and FDA safety and compliance standards

    Ensure finished pallets meet company quality and food safety standards

    Assist with workflow coordination, scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives

    Support company policies, safety procedures, and operational goals with the intention of growing within the organization

    Perform additional duties as needed to support receiving, shipping, and logistics operations

    What We’re Looking For

    Prior experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in food manufacturing,

    Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

    Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude

    Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

    Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards is a plus

    Commitment to quality, consistency, and teamwork

    Valid driver’s license (required for backup delivery route training)
