    Job Description:

    SCOPE: All warehouse staff working in the Receiving Department REPORTS TO: Inventory Manager

    ROLE SUMMARY

    The Receiving Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and performance of the Receiving Department. This role serves as a working lead that is deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of the Receiving department along with coaching, training, and task delegation to those working within the department.

    SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    Leadership:

    Supervise and guide a team of receiving staff to achieve overall business outcomes and performance objectives together as a cohesive team.

    Maintain full safety protocols, house keeping standards, and quality standards

    Daily Duties and Operational Efficiency

    Support the Receiving team in executing according to the Receiving SOP and ensure the accuracy of receiving.

    Support the Receiving team in executing according to the Bulk Put-Away SOP and ensure the accuracy of Bulk Put-Aways.

    Manage the Receiving Requests sheet in accordance with the Inventory Manager’s expectations and co-operate with the Sales team with priority requests.

    Sales Request to Warehouse

    Ensure incoming products are received correctly in a timely manner and in correct priority order when applicable.

    Maintain area organization and curation, including Put-Away priority, Products waiting further instructions, Overflow storage areas, among other things

    Communicate shipment issues, shortages, and overages with the purchasing team daily.

    Learning and Development

    Provide mentorship and coaching for staff working within the Receiving department.

    Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent.

    Working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures

    Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn

    Supervisory experience is a plus
