Position Summary:
Warehouse Tech is responsible for supporting warehouse operations, inventory management, distribution activities, facility support, and material handling functions. This position requires a motivated, dependable, and safety-conscious individual capable of working in a fast-paced environment while performing physically demanding tasks. The Warehouse / Distribution Associate will assist with inventory control, forklift operations, trash removal, facility support projects, receiving and shipping activities, and general warehouse organization.
Warehouse Tech Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations and Inventory Control
- Receive, inspect, organize, and store incoming inventory and materials.
- Assist with inventory counts, inventory tracking, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Maintain organized warehouse storage areas and ensure materials are properly labeled and stored.
- Assist with inventory audits and inventory reconciliation activities.
- Prepare materials, supplies, and products for distribution and departmental use.
- Material Handling and Forklift Operations
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as authorized.
- Load and unload delivery trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Transport materials, supplies, equipment, and inventory throughout the facility.
- Utilize forklifts and hopper bins to remove and dispose of trash, debris, and waste materials.
- Support warehouse logistics activities while maintaining safe operating procedures.
Facility Support and General Labor
- Assist with facility improvement projects and operational support activities.
- Assemble office furniture, desks, chairs, shelving units, workstations, and other equipment as needed.
- Assist Facilities, Operations, and Warehouse personnel with special projects and operational requirements.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization standards.
- Support moving, staging, and setup of equipment and materials throughout the facility.
Distribution and Shipping Support
- Assist with preparing shipments and outgoing deliveries.
- Verify shipment accuracy and assist with loading products and materials for transportation.
- Ensure all distribution activities are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with receiving documentation and inventory recordkeeping.
Safety and Compliance
- Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures.
- Maintain safe forklift operation practices and warehouse safety standards.
- Report on equipment issues, safety hazards, and operational concerns to management.
- Utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE) when performing assigned duties.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and inclement weather.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.

Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift certification.
- Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience.
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment.
- Experience with inventory management systems. Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred).
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, logistics, agriculture, cultivation, or warehouse environments.
