    Job Description

    SUMMARY: Perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the department and/or managers to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization. Responsible for performing data entry work using a computer and appropriate software; entering, updating, researching, verifying and/or retrieving data into/from various systems; and ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of information recorded.

     

    POSITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Enters, updates and verifies data into various systems with great attention to detail.

    · Enters and maintains spreadsheets for operations purposes.

    · Reviews and verifies data entered into database to ensure accuracy.

    · Document and ensure proper keeping of records, making use of current technologies.

    · Runs and distributes reports.

    · Handle requests for information and data

    · Resolve administrative problems and inquiries.

    · General clerical duties including photocopying, fax and scanning.

    · Performs and assists with projects and a variety of duties as assigned.

     

    COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    · Strong computer skills, with advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.

    · Aptitude to quickly learn new programs

    · Highly organized, the ability to effectively prioritize multiple deadlines, and a desire to follow things through

    · Strong detail orientation and able to quickly produce highly accurate work.

    · Learns quickly and sees opportunities for improvement.

    EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

    · Minimum of 1-2 years prior administrative and data entry experience and/or equivalent education

    · Familiarity of transportation and logistics practices preferred

    · Experience with McLeod system is a plus

    · Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment.

    · Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keeping

     

    WORK SCHEDULE

    This is a full-time position. Monday through Friday. Salaried; Non-Exempt position. We are an essential business. So this would be an on-site position. We follow all CDC protocols.
