    Job Description

    Warner Norcross + Judd LLP has an immediate opening for a Staff Accountant in our Grand Rapids office. This position provides support to the firm through financial reporting initiatives, assisting with month-end and year-end processes including reconciliations, and will assist with miscellaneous accounting related projects that arise.

    About the Position
    • Financial Reporting - Responsible for analyzing firm data and producing regular reporting for various groups within the firm in addition to assisting with preparation of month-end financial statements and year-end tax work.
    • Miscellaneous Project Support - Responsible for other projects as they arise. This includes supporting accounting software upgrades, submitting and tracking monthly payments for a variety of reimbursements, and generally assisting where workload demands within the accounting department.
    • Backup Support - Cross trained with other members of the team to provide support on different tasks throughout the year including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc.
    • Provide the above general responsibilities with the highest-level of professional customer-service.

    About You
    Experience, Education and Training
    • Accounting degree or equivalent experience in a related role.
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel.
    • Experience with Microsoft Access a plus.
    • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
