    POSITION SUMMARY

Integrated Advising (IA) Coaches work with a caseload of students, throughout their entire WWC education, as they intentionally shape their Warren Wilson College education. IA coaches provide pre-major academic advising, major exploration, career development support, and ongoing guidance around identifying opportunities and navigating barriers relating to work, community engagement, and the overall student experience. They do this by engaging students in ongoing exploration, self-evaluation, action planning and critical reflection in order to develop, analyze, and make progress towards personal and professional goals. IA Coaches must incorporate a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion in work with students, both individually and in group programming. This happens through both personal DEI goal development and systemic thinking about equity and inclusion in the design of the Integrated Advising program.
