Warren Wilson College seeks applicants for a faculty position in Sustainable Business. The successful applicant must be able to teach a course on sustainable business practices, seminar courses on green entrepreneurship and business plan development, and other courses in the successful candidate's area of expertise. Successful candidates will also work collaboratively across departments, especially with the Environmental Studies Department.This is a full-time, continuing faculty position in an extended contract system.
A new Business Department was initiated at WWC in 2019. It is designed with a focus on sustainable business and social entrepreneurship, preparing business leaders who are able to critically assess, develop, and promote a sustainable future. Student interest is high, and we seek candidates who are excited about collaborating with existing faculty to develop an innovative, regionally engaged business program.
Candidates will have demonstrated excellence in and commitment to undergraduate teaching, a track record of relevant scholarly activity, and interest and experience in curriculum development in sustainable business.
