    Client Description:

    Our great client is a prime contract holder who has supported the USDA for over 20 years. We were recently granted a $14.5 Million dollar five year program. We are supporting the Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) is the foreign affairs agency with primary responsibility for the United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA) overseas programs – market development, international trade agreements and negotiations, and the collection of statistics and market information.

    We are looking for a SharePoint Developer to join our awesome team of IT professionals who are building large distributed systems and delivering streamlined user experiences. We want team members who strive to develop first-class applications, embrace change and innovation and work well within a matrixed team environment. We emphasis knowledge sharing and expect all our technical team members to actively contribute to solutioning, architecture and brown bag sessions. Our ideal candidate should be able to implement a complete user interface in the form of rich client custom web applications and takes pride in building deep working relationships with cross-functional teams.

    SharePoint Developer duties and responsibilities:

    Provides support to the overall development, maintenance and administration of SharePoint and other duties as assigned.

    • Overall SharePoint administration – Site creation, permissions, document handling, lists, etc. – with an understanding of both Modern and Classic SharePoint.
    • Able to design a modern, classic, and mixed environment and function of SharePoint sites across the organization.
    • Manages the maintenance, security and use of corporate SharePoint sites and services.
    • Designs Business Process Management applications utilizing Power Apps, Power Automation and Azure Web API
    • Provides Business Solutions as assigned in and out of the SharePoint online framework.
    • Understands and implements security best practices and works with security specialists to minimize vulnerabilities
    • Knowledge of Web development tools and languages: HTML5, CSS, Node.js, JavaScript, C#
    • Familiarity with Visual Studio .Net and Visual Studio Code
    • Acts as technical resource for SharePoint, providing technical guidance, analysis, training, and support
    • Creates and maintains documentation to build knowledge and provide training when necessary
    • Proficient in the use of MS Teams, SharePoint Online, Power Apps, and Power Automate, and Power BI.
    • Understands best practices for architecting relational data models in SharePoint Online.
    • Experienced configuring and managing modern pages in SharePoint Online.
    • Proficient in working with third party tools like Nintex, K2 ,Metalogix etc.
    • Experienced in working with SharePoint Migrations.
    • Mature communication skills both verbal and writing.
