    Dashboard Developer

    Washington, D.C. – WFH due to COVID

     

    Description

    Our great client has an opening to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program as a Dashboard Developer.

     

    Serve as primary dashboard developer for TIO IM team:

    • Work with technical teams to design and implement data collection tools and techniques to ensure the appropriate integrity, frequency, and confidence is achieved
    • Performing data discovery, cleansing, validation, and data relationship management functions
    • Designing data visualization mock-ups and business intelligence platform-based prototypes based on customer requirements
    • Ensuring data visualizations reflect the appropriate context to inform decision-making
    • Work with technical teams to design and iterate dashboards based on customer feedback
    • Serve as lead support for SharePoint and Power BI development. Able to think through and use broader Office 365 tools (Power Ap / Flow) to create consistent workflows
    • Able to generate appropriate documentation to support acquisitions and financial processes
    • Experience with financial data and modeling preferred

     

    Required Security Clearance: US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust.

     

    Qualifications Requirements:

    • Experience with planning, designing, and overseeing deployment of complex enterprise-wide or large-scale information architectures including computer hardware and software, operating systems, middleware, communications hardware and software, and security components.
    • Able to ensure these systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for open systems architectures as they apply to the implementation and specification of complex information management solutions.
    • Able to identify necessary interfaces between enterprise solution applications and legacy IT environments.
    • Supports all program/project planning and milestone development.
    • Supports business case analysis and identification of alternative solutions and resulting business impacts.
    • Experience in development of Power BI dashboards
    • Experience in integration of data sources to Power BI

     

    Required Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience is required. An additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements

     

    Additional Qualifications:

    • Experience in the VA
    • Experience implementing Electronic Health Records

     

    Working Conditions:

    • This role will have temporary telework options during the COVID pandemic, there is a rotational schedule to go on-site. The candidate will be expected to be on-site full time (40-hour week) once restrictions are lifted.
    • Maybe required to COVID vaccine or negative testing requirement.
