This program is based out of Salt Lake City where our client has over a million square feet of engineering and production facilities. At this facility our client is pushing the boundaries of science with this in mind: you can't manage what you can't see. They gather data, visualize it, and make it usable in real time. Covid Schedule: This position works a hybrid schedule working 2-4 days per week in plant, in Salt Lake City, UT. Relocation to Salt Lake City, UT will be offered on a case-by-case basis.
Job Description:
The Subcontract Manager is an essential member of our Supply Chain Management team. The Subcontract Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end acquisition lifecycle of subcontracts. This acquisition lifecycle includes requirements definition, generation of Statements of Work, generation of requests for proposals, proposal evaluations, source selections, negotiations and definitization and file documentation
The Subcontract Manager plays a key role in ensuring compliance to internal and Government FAR/DFAR/DPAS/CPSR Procurement Regulations, change management, invoice approvals, dispute resolution and subcontract closeout.
The Subcontract Manager is the main point of contact between suppliers and program teams and provides all contractual direction.
In addition this individual will manage projects designed to improve organizational efficiency, motivate and improve professional skills required in our business environment. The position is expected to use a defined set of metrics to measure performance to ensure accountability and facilitate problem resolution.
