Headquartered in in Ridgecrest, California, they provided products and services to the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security and private industry.

    Program Description:

    This program provides Information Technology Support Services II (ITSS II) at the National Aeronautical and Space Administration (NASA).

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Experience with commonly used computer Operating systems, networking technologies, system administration techniques, and familiarity with basic scripting languages.Proven background in Computer
    • Security technology functional areas.
    • Familiarity with Government IT Security policies and processes (such as the NIST 800-53 family of controls) is highly desirable.

    Specific position requirements include:

    • Daily operation of a large Enterprise BigFix environment and related duties, including but not limited to monitoring service tickets, troubleshooting and remediation, and user access request processing.
    • Minimum one year of experience managing and maintaining high visibility, critical systems, including implementation of security controls, patching and vulnerability mitigation.
    • Minimum one year of experience performing Windows technical support, including knowledge of the Windows registry, file and folder security, local/domain user security, and Group Policy Objects.
    • Minimum one year of experience with scripting technologies such as PowerShell, Bash, or VBScript.
    • Knowledge of architecture, communication protocols, and system-level requirements in support of small, medium and large Enterprise environments.
    • Troubleshooting complex technical issues in a mixed Windows, MacOS and Linux environment. Strong Linux background preferred.
    • Solid foundation in networking principles and troubleshooting of network-based performance issues.
    • Experience in a virtualization solution such as Microsoft Hyper-V or VMWare ESX/ESXi
    • Must possess strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize work in an interrupt-driven environment. Must possess initiative and be quality-driven, thorough, and communicative.
    • Development and maintenance of technical documentation and drawings.
    • Familiarity with the challenges of designing solutions and working within the constraints of isolated environments.
    • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory domain management a plus.
    • Familiarity with Tenable Security Center, Nessus, Forescout, Splunk, and Symantec Endpoint Protection a plus.

    Education and Work Experience Requirements:

    • 3 years or 1 year with a BA/BS
    • BA/BS degree in a related discipline, experience may substitute for education
