    Job Description

    POSITION: Enterprise Support Specialist

    DIVISION: Administration

    DEPARTMENT: IT

    DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE TO: Director of IT

    DESCRIPTION: Provides software and network support, training, troubleshooting, printer and computer support. Provides software support for Enterprise Applications, including, but not limited to, the Electronic Medical Records System, Windows, and MS application software such as MS Office.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Helpdesk Ticket Queue Management for EMR and IT issues
    2. Create documentation to be used by internal IT staff as well as end-users
    3. Acts as technology support to agency end users via phone, video and in person scenarios for computers and phones.
    4. User Access Management (e.g., create and manage user accounts)
    5. Trains users in startup, basic and advanced use of software programs including EMR databases and Microsoft Office.
    6. Assists in evaluation and testing of software and planning for future needs.
    7. Performs other related duties as required to accomplish the objectives of the agency.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

    • Great customer service skills and passionate about helping our end users
    • Skilled in communication, time management, and organization
    • Excellent personal and interfacing skills
    • Requires sufficient analytical skills to assess problems or unusual situations and develop solutions.
    • Well-versed in Microsoft Office (Office 365 preferred) and Windows 10
    • General knowledge of troubleshooting Internet connectivity, phone systems, network systems, and other technological office equipment

    SOFTWARE USED

    • Microsoft Suite of products including Office 365, Windows 10, SharePoint, and Teams including Teams PBX
    • Legacy and current EMR packages
    • VMWare and Cisco networking equipment
    • Helpdesk ticketing software Deskpro or equivalent
    • Collaboration tools: Zoom, Teams, Basecamp

    ABILITIES

    • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
    • Requires the ability to independently perform all the duties of the position efficiently and effectively.
    • Must have strong communication and training skills and be able to communicate technical information to non-technical users, both orally and in writing.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    Associate degree in computer science OR College level coursework that includes 15 computer science credits and 1 year of IT Support experience OR a combination of education and experience that enables performance of all aspects of the position.

    PHYSICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    Depending on the assignment, may require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand, walk and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10 - 50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read technical information.

    WORKING CONDITIONS​

    Work is performed indoors with some potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to electronics work. Requires travel to satellite sites.

    Valid license, acceptable driving record, and safe, reliable, insured vehicle required.
