    To operate, maintain, inspect, install, and repair wastewater treatment systems, and associated collection and distribution equipment, and components. Distributes, maintains, operates chemical processes and systems.

    Maintain proper chemical levels in all feed, holding, and storage tanks relating to the operation of chemical waste treatment.

    Maintain and document all forms pertaining to record keeping. Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

    Inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment.

    Perform sample collection, laboratory testing, and analysis required to operate the plant.

    Record and interpret meter and gauge readings, log water flow, and maintain operating logs

    Handle movement of and working with chemicals as appropriate

    Monitor and calibrate pH and chemical levels

    Assist with spill response

    Operate, monitor, and control plant systems; visually inspect, prepare/monitor equipment, and process conditions; make system adjustments as needed to ensure optimal equipment operation and process efficiency.

    Safely and effectively move chemicals and products throughout the facility using a forklift or other material handling equipment.

    Follow all safety protocols and procedures when performing tasks and/or working with equipment.

    Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area.

    Ability to work in potentially loud and in strong odorous environments, different physical environments, or in various weather conditions.

    Must be able to move about in the processing areas and be able to do the following: lift and carry 50 lbs., stand and walk for sustained periods; climb stairs and ladders; bend; reach; push; pull, enter tanks, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

    Mechanical knowledge and aptitude.

    Ability to function with minimal supervision and work in a team environment.

    High school diploma or equivalent or a minimum of one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
