We are hiring a Wastewater Collection System Operator with ideally both jetter/vaccum combo truck experience and CCTV experience but are willing to consider candidates with operator experience specialized in one or the other. This role combines trenchless rehabilitation methods including cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) with traditional utility maintenance and CCTV pipeline inspection. The ideal candidate will operate jet/vac trucks to perform sewer cleaning and CCTV camera's for inspections. Experience with both jetting and CCTV operations is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities — Jet-Vac/CCTV Operator (CDL)
- Install and repair water distribution lines including utility locating, trenching, pipe/valve/hydrant setting, backfilling, compaction, and line flushing for EPA compliance. Perform main taps, service installs, and water asset maintenance including valve rotation and hydrant flushing.
- Construct and repair sewer collection systems by laying services, jet cleaning lines, performing dye tests, and raising/sealing manholes with proper traffic control.
- Execute CIPP rehabilitation projects including access prep, bypass pumping, cleaning and CCTV inspection, liner wet-out, inversion or pull-in installation, steam/UV cure, and post-cure quality assurance. Operate CCTV camera systems for pre- and post-rehabilitation inspection and documentation.
- Operate heavy equipment including dump trucks, backhoes, mini-excavators, sewer jet/vac trucks, tankers, trenchers, compressors, and specialized tapping/cutting tools. Service equipment through greasing, hydraulic hose replacement, fluid checks, and preventive maintenance coordination.
- Maintain safety compliance through confined space entry protocols, atmospheric monitoring, lockout/tagout procedures, excavation safety, traffic control setup, and digital documentation on tablets/laptops.
Qualifications — Jetter Operator/CCTV Operator
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid U.S. driver's license with acceptable driving record required
- Ability to lift 60+ pounds regularly and work in confined spaces, trenches, and all weather conditions
- Proficient with light to heavy equipment operation and basic computer/tablet use for field documentation
- Comfortable wearing required PPE and respiratory protection when needed
Preferred Qualifications — Jet Vac Operator - CCTV Operator
- CDL Class B with Tanker and Air Brakes endorsements strongly preferred
- CIPP experience with lateral/mainline rehabilitation, resin impregnation, inversion or pull-in-place methods, steam or UV cure, and lateral reinstatement
- Sewer/water CCTV inspection experience with familiarity in NASSCO PACP, MACP, or LACP coding standards
- Experience with bypass pumping setups, flow control management, and traffic control procedures
- OSHA-10 or OSHA-30, Confined Space Entry, First Aid/CPR certifications preferred
Physical Requirements — Field Technician - Jet-Vac/CCTV Operator (CDL)
- Lift, carry, and maneuver materials and equipment weighing 60+ pounds regularly
- Stand, walk, kneel, and crawl for extended periods during installations and repairs
- Work in confined spaces including manholes, trenches, and underground utilities with proper atmospheric monitoring
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow
- Travel to job sites within the Pittsburgh region with less than 25% overnight travel required
