Summary/Objective

OffenderWatch is the nation’s leading sex offender registry management and community notification network. More than 3,500 local, state, and federal agencies entrust their sex offender information to OffenderWatch to ensure compliance, increase efficiency, and reduce IT costs, all while helping to protect the public with accurate, timely and complete information.

We are a growing and increasingly innovative company located in Covington, LA. Over the last two decades, our core technology and network has evolved with the input of thousands of users. The OffenderWatch network group has given insight into not only meeting the minimum requirements of the laws, but also meeting the public safety intent.

OffenderWatch is seeking a qualified applicant to fill the position of Project Manager. The position manages all aspects of complex projects from inception to conclusion. They will report directly to the Vice President of Operations.

Essential Functions

As the point of contact on assigned projects, performs a variety of highly skilled duties such as: assembling, coordinating and managing multidisciplinary technical review teams.

Facilitates and troubleshoots the myriad of problems associated with developing complex systems or with coordinating and development, and design projects.

Provides highly skilled technical and management advice and assistance to department management and personnel.

Responds to inquiries about projects.

Chairs various project review and pre-submittal meetings.

Assists in developing departmental plans, goals, objectives, policies and procedures.

Coordinates schedules of staff and other interested parties.

Supervisory ResponsibilityNo direct supervisory duties, though management of projects includes directing project related activities of the project team members.

Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis full-time position regularly requires long hours and occasional weekend work.

TravelMinimum travel is required. Some projects may require more out-of-the-area and overnight travel.

Education and Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or other technical discipline.

3-5 years IT project management experience

PMP Certification

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must pass criminal background check and drug screening.
