    Job Description

    SUMMARY

    This internship is a hands-on, real-world position, assisting our software engineers in managing the projects, including key tasks related to our internal applications.   This is a real-world position that is critical to our entire facility.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and enhance applications using various technologies
    • Work on all aspects of software development with a specific focus on software testing of new and upgrades to internal applications
    • Be a part of our internal tools development team, learning and developing skills by working side by side with our degreed, experienced engineers

    QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

    • Ability to work independently
    • Excellent written and communication skills
    • Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of semester
    • Able to work up to 40 hours per week during summer session

    EDUCATION AND LICENSING

    • Student enrolled in Technology; Information Technology and Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Science, Systems & Network Administration, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity
    • Must have been enrolled full-time for the current semester, new graduates are still eligible for this position

    *Our interns are anticipated to work with us for the entire summer term, assuming quality work. Of course, all positions are "at will" and an internship is not a guarantee of work for a set period of time.
