We are hiring a Water Damage Restoration Technician / Mitigation Technician to respond to residential and commercial water damage losses throughout DuPage County. We offer steady year-round work, competitive pay, and the opportunity to grow with an established restoration company.

This is not a desk job. Our technicians work on active job sites involving water damage, demolition, drying equipment, and emergency response work.

What Does a Water Damage Restoration Technician Do?
Respond to water damage and fire damage restoration calls
Extract water, remove damaged materials, and set up drying equipment
Perform water mitigation and structural drying
Monitor moisture levels and protect structures from further damage
Assist with smoke cleanup and mold remediation
Work directly with homeowners during stressful situations
Keep equipment and trucks clean and ready

What We’re Looking For
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Able to lift 75 lbs and handle physically demanding work
Comfortable working nights/weekends when scheduled for on-call
Reliable, on time, and accountable
Strong work ethic and team mentality
Restoration or mitigation field experience is strongly preferred.
Experience in restoration, construction, or skilled trades a plus
IICRC certifications (WRT/ASD) are a plus
Experience using air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters is a plus
Candidates with experience in restoration, construction, demolition, roofing, or other hands-on trades tend to transition well into this role.
What You’ll Do
Perform water mitigation including water extraction, structural drying, water damage cleanup, and demolition
Assist with fire and smoke cleanup
Support mold remediation as needed
Maintain organized trucks and properly functioning equipment
Work as part of a team and step up when responsibility is needed
Be on-call when scheduled to respond to emergency losses
Trauma cleanup work is available for trained team members who volunteer.
