Water Delivery & Tank Fill Attendant

Position Summary

Onsite Security is seeking a dependable individual to transport water from a designated central water tap to an agricultural facility and fill on-site water storage tanks. This is a straightforward, independent position that requires reliability, safe driving, and the ability to consistently complete the assigned water runs.

Primary Responsibilities

• Pick up the designated water-hauling vehicle and/or water tank.
• Travel to the designated central water tap and fill the transport tank.
• Safely transport water to the agricultural facility.
• Transfer water into designated on-site storage tanks.
• Make multiple water runs as needed to maintain required tank levels.
• Monitor tanks during filling to prevent overflowing.
• Properly operate hoses, valves, pumps, and other basic water-transfer equipment.
• Perform basic visual inspections of the vehicle, trailer, tanks, hoses, and fittings before use.
• Report leaks, equipment problems, vehicle issues, or other concerns to Maintenance immediately.
• Maintain a simple record of water deliveries or loads when requested.
• Keep the water-loading and unloading areas reasonably clean and organized.
• Follow all property rules and basic safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable driving a truck and towing a water trailer containing 1000 gallons.
• Able to safely operate basic pumps, hoses, valves, and water-transfer equipment.
• Able to perform light-to-moderate physical work, including handling hoses and climbing in and out of a vehicle repeatedly.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must consistently show up on scheduled days and complete required water runs.
• Understanding of water pumps, their function, and their maintenance is a plus.

Typical Schedule

The position will require 4-6 hours of work per day on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Mondays will require roughly six hours, and Wednesdays and Fridays will require roughly 4-6 hours depending on water needs. Exact days and hours may vary slightly depending on the agricultural facility's water usage and seasonal needs. Potential makeup days may be required if pumps fail or the central water source temporarily closes.

Work Environment

This position primarily involves driving between a central water source and an agricultural property, filling and emptying water tanks, and working outdoors around agricultural equipment and facilities.
