    Job description

    We are a Kinetico dealer in California with an exclusive territory in six counties for the world’s most efficient water softeners, filtration systems and well pump and equipment specialists. We are looking for individuals that are looking to work hard, be a contributing member of a team, hold themselves accountable for their actions and take serious pride in their work.

    Job Summary: This position includes communicating with customers daily, loading/unloading equipment, as well as servicing and troubleshooting and installing water filtration and water well pump and equipment. Working knowledge of water softeners, reverse osmosis and filtration systems, water well pumps and equipment, and plumbing is a plus, but not required.

    Starting time is 8:00 AM, M-F. We work until all the scheduled work is done each day.

    At first, you will work alongside an experienced technician, and then within 4 weeks, you will work by yourself.

    This position reports to our Diamond Springs, California warehouse each day before going to off-site appointments. You will eventually be assigned a company vehicle for jobs, at first you will be doing ride along with technicians in their vehicles.

    Qualifications:

    Basic plumbing or a mechanical aptitude

    Provide exceptional customer service

    Water well pump & equipment knowledge is a plus, but not required

    Load and unload work truck

    Service & maintain and troubleshoot water treatment system and well equipment in homes

    Maintain a clean and organized vehicle

    Ability to document service notes

    Good written and verbal communication

    Drive to service calls and installation appointments

    Take payments at customer homes

    Ability to lift 80 lbs

    Can work on a team or by yourself

    Ability to perform heavy lifting up and downstairs

    Ability to be in crawl spaces or under homes

    Cuts threads and packs pipes

    Ability to speak with customers in order to up-sell products that fit their need for quality water

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to navigate a smartphone or tablet for various web-based applications.

    Requirements:

    Ability to pass a background check and clean DMV

    A person with organizational skills

    Ability to work independently or on a team

    Problem solver

    Good written and verbal communication

    Dependable, punctual, neat, and presentable (any tattoos or piercings must not be visible)
