About the Role

As a Water Field Technician, you’ll be the first line of response when property damage strikes. You’ll work hands-on to mitigate and restore homes and businesses affected by water damage — from assessing the situation and setting up drying equipment to helping customers navigate a stressful experience with care and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly to water damage calls and emergencies.

Inspect affected areas to determine the scope of damage and plan mitigation steps.

Set up, monitor, and maintain drying equipment (dehumidifiers, air movers, etc.).

Extract standing water using professional-grade tools and techniques.

Document work performed, including photos, moisture readings, and job notes.

Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members.

Follow safety procedures and company protocols at all times.

Assist in demolition, cleanup, and restoration preparation as needed.

Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergencies.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Ability to lift 30+ lbs and work in various environments (attics, crawlspaces, outdoors, etc.).

Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

IICRC certification preferred but not required.
