    Lead Restoration Technician

    $26–$32+ per hour total earning potential

    $26/hour guaranteed base pay for the right candidate, plus performance bonuses and overtime.

    Lead Technicians who run efficient, profitable jobs, maintain strong documentation, take care of customers, and lead crews effectively can earn significantly more.

    IICRC WRT and AMRT are required to maintain the $26/hour Lead Technician rate. We will consider the right experienced candidate without both certifications if they obtain them within 6 months.

    PuroClean of South Chesapeake is a growing, family-owned restoration company serving Hampton Roads.

    We need a dependable Lead Restoration Technician who can take ownership of projects, lead a crew, communicate with customers, and get the job done correctly without constant supervision.

    What You’ll Do

    Lead mitigation and remediation projects

    Direct and work alongside technicians

    Perform extraction, demolition, cleaning, drying, and microbial remediation

    Establish containment and environmental controls

    Set and monitor drying and air-filtration equipment

    Maintain accurate moisture readings, drying logs, notes, equipment records, and photos

    Communicate with customers and the office

    Identify scope changes before proceeding

    Maintain vehicles, equipment, and job sites

    Help train newer technicians

    Participate in emergency and after-hours response

    Requirements:

    Experience running projects or leading crews

    IICRC WRT and AMRT preferred at hire and required within 6 months

    Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

    Strong communication, documentation, and customer-service skills

    Comfortable with mobile apps and restoration software

    Able to work in crawlspaces, attics, and demanding environments

    Willing to perform water, mold, sewage, fire, biohazard, demolition, and difficult cleanup work

    Reliable attendance and communication

    Reality Check

    Restoration is physical, hands-on work. You will work in crawlspaces, attics, hot and cold environments, and properties affected by water, mold, sewage, fire, and biohazard conditions. Some days are long, and after-hours work is part of the business.
