Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Water Quality Lab Technician to perform a variety of chemical, biological, and physical analyses on water samples. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory science, a passion for environmental health, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced lab environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, and analyze water samples using standardized laboratory procedures

Perform tests using ICPMS and Thermo Fisher Gallery

Maintain accurate records of test results

Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment

Ensure compliance with EPA, state, and local regulatory requirements

Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs

Assist with lab audits, inspections, and reporting

Qualifications:

Previous laboratory experience preferred (internships and academic labs accepted)

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and laboratory software

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with EPA and Standard Methods for water and wastewater analysis

Familiarity with LIMS or other lab data management systems

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field
