Position Summary

We are seeking a Water & Wastewater Treatment Operator to support the daily operations of multiple water and wastewater facilities in the Spring, TX area, with travel to Houston and surrounding communities as needed. This position is responsible for performing routine testing, collecting samples, monitoring equipment, completing basic maintenance, and ensuring facilities operate safely and efficiently.

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week), rotating weekends, and on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine water and wastewater testing, sample collection, and meter readings

• Monitor system performance and accurately record operational data

• Assist with equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and minor repairs

• Maintain facility cleanliness and follow all safety procedures

• Respond to on-call emergencies as scheduled

• Report operational issues and support daily facility operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Minimum Texas Class C Water or Wastewater Operator License required

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

• Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record screening

• Mechanical or technical experience preferred

• Basic computer skills preferred

• Ability to work rotating weekends and participate in an on-call schedule
