    JOB DESCRIPTION 

    ACCOUNTING: Approximately 40% of time 

    Work closely with the Director of Finance and the Controller on the following tasks 

    • Record accounts payable transactions in accounting system

    • Manage credit card reconciliations

    • Process employee reimbursements

    • Prepare bank and account reconciliations

    • Ensure adequate supports (invoice & approval) for payment request filed

    • Issue/process payments requested through the bank: E-check and ACH

    • Prepare and send request for international wire transfer to the bank

    • Review and manage accounting documentation

    • Assist in the external annual audit process

    HUMAN RESOURCES: Approximately 30% of time 

    Work closely with executive and director level management on the following 

    • Manage employee onboarding process and documentation
    • Schedule and support quarterly and annual employee performance reviews
    • Manage and evaluate employee benefits
    • Support staff development and training programs

    ADMINISTRATION: Approximately 30% of time 

    Provide organizational support on a variety of activities 

    • Update staff directory
    • Process weekly deposits
    • Support volunteer and intern recruitment processes and retention
    • Provide procurement support

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Experience using Google G-Suite - Google Sheets, Docs or Microsoft Office
    • 1+ years of accounting experience
    • Detail-oriented
    • Excellent relationship and conflict resolution skills
    • Self-motivated and comfortable working on a remote team, across cultures, in multiple languages and countries.

    PREFERRED 

    • Fluency in French
    • Prior HR experience
    • Experience working with database management
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or a Related Field

    This position is based in Indianapolis, IN, but work from home part-time is optional ~10% Travel Annually 

    Competitive salary range of $48K-$60K and benefits commensurate with experience.
