Water4 equips missional entrepreneurs in developing nations to | | create lasting economic, physical, and spiritual change through | | market-based safe water solutions. This approach puts the solutions to | | local problems in the hands of local people and ensures that safe water | | access is sustained by local resources. Since 2008, Water4 has impacted | | the lives of over 1.4 million people in more than 30 countries through | | the power of safe and living water. Water4's 2030 strategy is to reach 7 | | million people with safe water services in 15 countries, primarily | | through a district-wide approach to safe water delivery. | +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | | | | | JOB DESCRIPTION | +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | | | Overview | | | | Over the past 10 years, Water4 has grown into a provider of seed capital | | and capacity building to 19 enterprise partners in 15 countries in | | sub-Saharan Africa. These enterprises are vertically integrated | | providers of safe water services in the communities where they work. | | Water4 supports these enterprises with the drilling equipment, NUMA | | Water Systems and components, supplying spare and replacement parts, as | | well as supply chain development. Water4 does this out of our OKC | | offices where it is equipped with production and warehousing capacity to | | produce and stock inventory items, components and equipment, and offer | | shipping services for these enterprises. | | | | | | | | Position Summary | | | | The Manufacturing and Production Assistant (MPA) is responsible for | | supporting Water4's Program Department production and warehousing | | requirements under the supervision of the Production Manager. The MPA | | will support in receiving supplies and equipment, insuring they are | | checked into inventory, and stocked in the appropriate location. | | | |  The MPA will directly build and manufacture the NUMA water system | | components, drilling and related equipment, and geophysical surveying | | equipment according to Water4 standards and specifications under | | timelines and targets set by the Production Manager and Program | | Department. MPA will also travel to Water4 enterprise locations to | | provide technical support and training for the production and | | installation of NUMA Water System Components. | | | | The MPA will support in the packing, shipping and export of supplies and | | equipment to Water4 enterprises. High School Diploma. | | - Preferred: 2+ years' experience managing production related work, | | including design and fabrication, welding, warehousing, and plumbing | | and water systems experience.
