    Job Description

    WaterSmart is seeking a Customer Success (CS) Manager who will oversee all aspects of deploying WaterSmart’s leading SaaS solution for water use efficiency, analytics and customer engagement. Manager must have strong interpersonal and quantitative skills, enjoy a fast-paced startup environment, and be attentive to details.

     

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    • Be a utility client’s main point of contact for WaterSmart Software and manage programs from day one.
    • Coordinate program deployment by partnering with utility staff and WaterSmart’s product and engineering staff. 
    • Ensure that deployment issues are resolved flawlessly and in a timely manner.
    • Become a trusted advisor to utility clients, helping to inform and educate them about appropriate WaterSmart products and services.
    • Iterate and optimize utility programs to drive customer success.
    • Listen to utility client needs and contribute to product development by reviewing products under developmet and providing actionable feedback to the product team.
    • Ensure all ongoing customer-service, technical, and other support is delivered effectively and up to WaterSmart standards of excellence.
    • Manage multiple client programs and projects simultaneously.
    • Drive renewal activities for utility clients.
    • Review existing CS processes and tools, including utility support practices and customer satisfaction surveys, and recommend improvements.
    • Support sales team as needed with prospective utility clients, including program design guidance and addressing questions.
    • Travel one or two times per quarter to visit clients.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Candidates in Nashville, TN and Austin, TX will be considered.

    • BS or BA in Business, Environmental Policy or related field; MBA or similar degree preferred
    • Strong project management experience, ideally in a fast-paced consulting, services, or technology-related environment; previous start-up and/or SaaS experience is ideal.
    • 5+ years of professional experience required in managing client relationships.
    • Experience managing multiple, high-priority projects at the same time.
    • Understanding of how to build and leverage strong business relationships.
    • Friendly, outgoing, flexible, and focused personality.
    • Comfort with analytical and quantitative approaches.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Ability to motivate others and an uncanny ability to get things done.
