    SUMMARY: As one of the fastest growing employee-owned staffing companies in the United States, we are looking for an experienced BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER to develop and manage a construction, light and heavy industrial staffing business in the West Palm Beach territory (both Palm Beach and Martin counties). Action Labor & Staffing Connection, with a 36-year successful track record, offers a generous base salary + commission structure at or above market levels to attract the highest caliber personnel in the industry.     BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER needed for Action Labor & Staffing Connection, an established temporary staffing provider serving the construction, light and heavy industrial markets. This is a hybrid/remote position in the Palm Beach and Martin County area offering a qualified candidate the opportunity to build and manage a light industrial staffing business throughout this thriving market. Our culture is finding light industrial staffing producers who source, build and maintain their own book of staffing business.  We have 2 existing branch locations locally to service and recruit your staffing orders.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work in assigned territory to help increase market share by researching leads, identifying opportunities, prospecting/cold calling opportunities and closing new business relationships.
    • Understand the needs of prospective customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet those needs.
    • Have a strong understanding of the businesses’ products & services and be able to articulate those to prospective and current customers.
    • Work directly with new and existing clients to establish, develop and grow temporary staffing relationships.
    • Respond to and effectively manage client requests or concerns to meet or exceed their expectations.
    • Confidently work with senior leaders to support sales and customer service commitments.
    • Promote and follow all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 2 – 6 years of relationship-based selling. (staffing, industrial, construction or a like industry PREFERRED but not required!).
    • Proven track record of success in your sales career.
    • Highest commitment to customer service and strategic business development.
    • Ability to manage multiple complex projects independently.
    • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRMs.
    • Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with a diverse employee and client base.
    • Desire to work in a collaborative team environment to support others.
    • Bilingual-English and Spanish is a plus.

    EDUCATION:

    BS/BA in Business or relevant field preferred but not required, along with 5 years’ experience (staffing, sales, sales management or human resources are examples, but ANYONE with outside B2B sales ability is welcome to apply!).
