    Full Job Description

    Key Responsibilities – Waterjet Operator

    • Set up, program, and operate CNC waterjet cutting machines for metals, plastics, composites, and stone.
    • Interpret blueprints, CAD files, and work orders to ensure part accuracy.
    • Adjust, maintain, and troubleshoot waterjet equipment to ensure consistent operation.
    • Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges for quality assurance.
    • Load/unload raw materials and finished products safely and efficiently.
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
    • Accurately record production data, job notes, and maintenance logs.
    • Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and quality teams to meet specifications and deadlines.

    Requirements – Waterjet Operator

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • 1–3 years of CNC or waterjet cutting machine experience (training provided for motivated candidates).
    • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
    • Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

    Preferred Qualifications – Waterjet Operator

    • Experience with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming.
    • Knowledge of cutting various materials and techniques.
    • Forklift or material handling experience.
