Waterproofing Installer – Balcony Systems (Westcoat)

Location: San Diego County Employment Type: Full-Time Pay: Competitive hourly rate (DOE) + overtime opportunities

About the Role

We are hiring a Waterproofing Installer to join our construction/termite repair division, specializing in balcony and deck waterproofing systems. This position focuses on installing Westcoat waterproofing systems on residential and HOA multi-family properties throughout San Diego County.

What You’ll Be Doing

Install cementitious and liquid-applied waterproofing systems for balconies, decks, stairs, and walkways

Prep substrates including grinding, cleaning, priming, and patching

Apply waterproofing layers, base coats, membranes, and topcoats per manufacturer specifications

Work alongside carpenters and termite repair crews on balcony restoration projects

Follow safety procedures, jobsite protocols, and quality standards

Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites

Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure projects stay on schedule

Experience & Qualifications

Construction, waterproofing, concrete coating, or similar trade experience preferred

Experience with balcony or deck waterproofing is a strong plus

Ability to use hand tools, grinders, mixers, and application equipment

Comfortable working outdoors and on elevated surfaces (balconies, stairs, scaffolding)

Physically able to lift materials, kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and attention to detail
