    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Water Feature Service Technicians to join our team! As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the integrity of various customers’ water features, ponds and fountains, including cleaning tile, pump baskets, filters, and more. You will also be checking the water pH and chemical levels and making adjustments as needed, documenting any water feature issues, and communicating all issues and changes to both management and customers. The ideal candidate has strong communication and customer service skills, a willingness to learn, and is comfortable working outside all year.

    Responsibilities

    Clean and maintain water features by performing tasks such as netting, brushing and vacuuming and more.

    Test pool water and balance the water chemistry based on those results

    Troubleshoot minor problems to keep the fountain or pond system running

    Complete required paperwork accurately and in timely manner

    Document issues and repair needs, and communicate the status of the equipment to both management and customers

    Ensure cleanliness of company vehicle on daily basis, take vehicle in for wash and vacuum weekly

    Qualifications

    Strong customer service skills

    Experience working with water features desired

    Ability to work outside all year

    Applicant Requirements:

    Reside in North Orange County or in close proximity to the area.

    Able to start work Monday through Friday at 7am in Brea and work overtime as required.

    Open to occasional weekend work or being on call.

    Able to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screenings.

    Possess a valid California Driver’s License and insurable driving record.

    Possess a High School Diploma or GED and be at least 21 years of age.

    Capable of effective verbal and written communication.

    Proficient in fundamental MATH including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and percentages.

    Enjoy working outdoors and around water

    Capable of lifting 50 lbs. without assistance and performing mechanical tasks.

    Able to prioritize work responsibilities while on duty, maintaining professionalism and teamwork.
