Watters International Realty is looking for an IT Help Desk Tech to maintain, and manage our software, hardware, networks and security.

Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.

Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

SALARY: $15.00-$17.00 an hour DOE

We are looking for someone that can do this part time mostly morning to mid day hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Printers: order/refill toner (when toner gets down to 50% place order), troubleshoot, add/remove employees from the address book.
• Software Install: install/configure printer software, provide admin credentials for patches as needed. Confirm both FreshService Discovery/Cisco/Chrome Remote Desktop and Cisco Umbrella are installed on company owned computers.
• Hardware: Update returned equipment with the latest patches. Use appropriate naming schema for computers when returned to stock or deployed. Install/replace cat 5 cables as needed. Install hard drives, memory on various laptops and desktops that are under warranty.
• End User: troubleshoot hardware and software issues on company owned computers, for employee owned computers, only basic troubleshooting/printer software installs - no hardware replacement. Provide new hire training for Thycotic.
• Conference Room Assistance. Setup/Troubleshooting chrome cast issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a IT Help Desk Tech, Network Admin tech or similar role

• Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management

• Experience with VOIP systems (RingCentral/Phone Burner)

• Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery

• Experience with GSuites Management to include device management and security policies

• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms (MAC, Windows and Chrome)

• Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude

• Excellent communication skills

• Associates in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) GSuite Certification is a plus.
