DETAILS
The Social Media and Email Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, development and execution of all organic social media and email marketing campaigns. They will improve the alignment of content and distribution with target audiences. They will work closely with the Watts team, namely the Account Managers and the Copy Editor, to develop strategy for social media and email marketing efforts.
The right candidate will have extensive experience with organic social media strategy for Facebook, Instagram,TikTok, and Google Business Profile. They will also be experienced in graphic design, spreadsheet management, email marketing, email communications, and chat bot user experience. Software for this experience may include:

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
80% Remote
Virtual “Office Hours” 8-9 a.m., Tuesday-Thursday, when management will always be online to collaborate
20% In-Person
Training, weekly GSD team meetings on Monday mornings at 9 a.m., and Quarterly Business Reviews will be held in Downtown Colorado Springs at the Watts Media headquarters, requiring reliable transportation
- Be highly organized with your work and help develop a systematic approach to completing tasks with the guidance of your team
- Document and communicate your work through our project management software
- Work with the Copy Editor to co-develop, maintain, and own the style guides of each brand to maintain consistency by upholding the tense, voice, tone, and spelling/capitalization of certain words unique to each brand
- Manage digital assets and permissions in a professional manner
- Organize, follow, and be accountable for social media and email marketing calendars of multiple brands
- Assist in ideation, planning, and execution of the content marketing calendars for multiple brands
- Develop strategies for social media and email marketing campaigns
- Create engaging social media and email marketing content that achieves marketing goals
- Use project management software to manage and communicate through Client feedback
- Use project management software to ensure that all Client feedback is resolved and content is approved before scheduling
- Schedule social media and email marketing content
- Engage as the Client following Brand Voice procedures to responses, reviews and other engagement on their social media platforms on a daily basis
- Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual reporting and strategy reassessment
- Monitor social media trends to incorporate into new strategy suggestions
ABILITIES & SKILLS
- Coachable and collaborative with the Watts team including, but not limited to, the Client, Account Managers, Copy Editor, Videographers, and Photographers
- Using Google Suite products: Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Google Drive
- Organize a production and publishing schedule to complete content, schedule and report within deadlines
- Work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously
- Have great written communication and be highly responsive during working hours
- Efficiently synthesize, understand, consolidate, and communicate new information to various audiences
- Work well with computers and the internet and learn new technology systems in a timely manner
- The grit to sit and focus on one task at a time, independently, with little or no daily supervision
- Good interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with Clients, colleagues, and management
- High attention to detail
- Typing quickly and accurately
- Pass a background check and Colorado drug test
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Part-Time: 15 - 30 hours per week
$18 - $24 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
