Job Description

Experience with asphalt maintenance including crackfill, sealcoat, and stripe a must with a general understanding of asphalt paving preferred. This exciting opportunity will be responsible for cultivating strong relationships/partnerships with new clients throughout the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas in NE Tennessee.

This position requires an individual who is able to take initiative, work without supervision, and begin projects independently. The successful candidate should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong ability to multitask.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Familiar with the Tri-Cities TN and surrounding area asphalt paving market
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
• 1 - 3 years of sales experience in the asphalt paving and maintenance sales preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specs.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain and build strategic relationships with existing and potential customers, and industry contacts.
• Visit project location, attend pre-bid meetings, and assess drawings and specifications.
• Manage sales leads from initiation through to closure.
• Take pictures and measurements, create aerial maps, and formulate a scope of work.
• Assist Operations as necessary
