    Our client in Fort Worth, TX is looking for a Wave Planner. This is a Temporary to Permanent position looking to start ASAP!

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare, process, and move merchandise productively, safely, accurately, and per established production rates, as well as established standards and guidelines
    • Plan, create, and release waves of orders for picking, ensuring alignment with shipping schedules and customer priorities.
    • Monitor warehouse workload and adjust wave planning based on order volume, labor availability, equipment constraints, and operational capacity.
    • Analyze order profiles and product slotting to maximize picking efficiency.
    • Coordinate with Inventory Control to ensure product availability and accurate inventory levels before releasing waves.
    • Communicate with Operations Supervisors and Leads to align on daily workload expectations and resource needs.
    • Track and report on wave progress, identifying and resolving bottlenecks or delays.
    • Maintain and update wave planning parameters in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
    • Collaborate with Transportation and Customer Service teams to prioritize urgent orders and special shipments.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing data and recommending process improvements to optimize wave planning and order flow.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.

    Qualifications:

    • One to two years related experience and/or training in warehousing or distribution operations preferred
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Basic computer skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Ability to stand, bend and lift for extended periods of time
    • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds to aid operations.
    • Must have good vision and hearing for verbal communication and forklift safety
