That said, Wavecrest is currently seeking a COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR for our main office in Richmond Hill, NY.

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring proper compliance in accordance with Federal, State and local requirements in regards to the affordable housing program.

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Providing excellence in customer service by assisting callers / tenants with all inquires

    · Collecting and reviewing varying annual tenant re-certifications as outlined by varying regulatory agencies.

    · Contacting tenant to address / complete / correct annual re-certifications.

    · Complete and submit annual owner certifications.

    · Analyzes, updates & compiles compliance related reports / spreadsheets ensuring accuracy of the data on a monthly, quarterly & annual basis.

    · The Compliance Coordinator must be organized, ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks / projects & ensure prompt replies to all correspondences.

    · Scans and file varying documents in e-filing document program.

    · Other duties as assigned.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    · Very Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    · Attention to detail with an ability to identify and independently work on resolving discovered issues

    · Ability track multiple projects & meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    · Minimum 1 year of experience in Commercial and Residential property management

    · Minimum 1 year of experience collecting and reviewing initial housing applications or annual housing recertifications

    · Minimum 1 year of mortgage processing

    · Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
