TITLE: IT Help desk Intern
SALARY: $12 per hour
HOURS: 16 hours per week
EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE:
No experience necessary. We do require that the candidate be a freshman or sophomore who is going into IT and is looking to work while in school and get valuable IT experience while pursuing their education. Any IT experience is a plus.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Part time person who is currently in school working towards earning a degree in Information Technology.
· Position is responsible for helping manage the helpdesk at Wavetronix using Dell KACE technology.
· Position will also author Knowledge Base articles for end users.
· Will handle desktop support for PC and Macs, Laptops, Desktops, Mobile devices, and basic networking.
REQUIREMENTS:
Part time person who is currently in school who is earning a degree in Information Technology. Needs to be self-motivated and skilled at problem solving. This is a customer service position; desired candidate must be able to interact with other employees in person, email, and over the phone while remaining professional, even with disgruntled employees. Must be able to work on site at Wavetronix in Provo in East Bay. Must be able to provide two 8-hour days.
