Senior BI / Business Analyst
Must be based in Fresno, CA area (work is on-site with some flexibility to work remotely)

Position Description
Wawona is looking for the right person to take the Business Intelligence function to a new level. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this is a key position requiring knowledge of manufacturing (ideally in food or similar) coupled with the interpersonal skills necessary to work at all levels to achieve defined goals.

Activities and Responsibilities
The Senior BI / Business Analyst is responsible for defining and implementing reports with users and working with IT to generate actionable information for the executive and management teams. The Senior BI Analyst will be the key driver in the migration from traditional reporting structures to more modern BI solutions such as dashboards, visualizations and end-user self-service. The role collaborates closely with all members of the executive team to build business models and provide information in support of day-to-day operational management as well as strategic and financial planning.

Position Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience, ideally in a process manufacturing environment
• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience (proven success in similar position)
• Proficient in business modeling and operations analysis
• Familiarity with core accounting and cost accounting principles, and operations and sales processes
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment and practical problem-solving skills
• Highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Technical Skills Requirements

• Advanced MS Excel skills; Power BI strongly preferred; ability to understand basic query structures and write SQL queries
• Familiarity with database structures; ability to analyze operational, financial and sales data
• Experience working with ERP and WMS Solutions
