    Camper Van Builder - Adventure Enthusiast Greetings all applicants! Do you dream of finding a job that allows you to combine your passions for outdoor adventure with working with your hands, interacting with generally happy customers, and receiving good benefits? We’ve got the role for you: a camper van builder with Wayfarer Vans. In this role, your typical week may look like spending four days in our shop creating components for our conversions. You’ll take the materials cut from our CNC machine and build components using drills, saws, nail guns, and sanders to create the furniture that will be installed in our camper vans. You’ll complete your work with a high degree of quality and attention to detail, you’ll be a problem solver and a champion of safety. You’ll also spend a day installing components into a camper van and interacting with our customers, aka Wayfarians, that day. You’ll get to introduce them to their van, educate them on how to recreate responsibly, and inspire them as they start their adventure in a camper van. You’ll also have plenty of time for your own outdoor adventures with options to work a flex schedule and enjoy a three-day weekend every week, or if you stick to the five-day workweek, you can head out at 1 pm on Fridays. Responsibilities: • Some of the job duties are:Assembly Experience and skills can be gained through traditional or nontraditional paths. Regardless of your education or professional background, please apply if you feel you can meet our job duties and be an asset to our community. • Assemble components to be installed in vans with a high degree of quality and attention to detail  • Inspect all pieces prior to building • Assemble components according to the direction given by the lead builder/quality control manager • Fix any necessary items requested by the head builder • Assist with inventory upkeep of small items • Use power tools including but not limited to: electric saws, hammer drill, drills, reciprocating saws, band saw, jigsaw, miter boxes, pneumatic nail guns, and sanding machines • Assemble and fasten material together to construct wood furniture, using bolts, nails, or screws • Evaluating trends in furniture and component flaws and construction, and reporting to Head Builder or Product Coordinator • Inspect completed furniture items and components to ensure final build quality meets or exceeds standards • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: QUALITIES WE ARE SEEKING: • Social empathy • Humility • Continual learner • Integrity • Positivity • Curiosity • Inclusive • Collaborative • Self Motivated Compensation: $16 - $18 hourly
