Positions: * Habilitation Training Specialist (HTS) JOB REQUIREMENTS: * Must be 18 years of age. * Must have 1 year experience. * Posses a High School Diploma/GED or one year experience as a community service worker, nurse's aide, or similar position providing services and/or care to individuals in their home or applicable settings in the community or recommended by the consumer and/or family as possessing adequate skills/knowledge to provide his or her services * Clean background. * No history of committing abuse, neglect, or exploitation of a child or vulnerably adult. * Not currently undergoing investigation for alleged abuse, neglect , or exploitation. * Proof of US citizenship or alien who has been authorized by the department of immigration and naturalization to be employed in the US. * If transportation of the consumer(s) is required a valid driver's license and automobile in good operating condition, proof of insurance, and current registration/tag. * A Valid DDS-37 and if applicable DDSD * Other individual-specific specialized, and or medication administration training depending upon the consumer's individual needs related to health, behavioral issues, unique support needs and to administer medication or assist with a medication support plan. JOB DESCRIPTION We Care provides habilitation training services to individuals with developmental disabilities living in their own homes. We Care employs Habilitation Training Specialist to carry out this function. HTS workers assist their client(s) in their home and out in the community. Staff members providing Habilitation Training Services and their direct supervisor must meet the training requirements as specified by DDSD and We Care. The HTS provides assistance and training which supports the client's continuing to live in their homes as independently as possible.
