Laborers (Service Team Members) will be responsible for nightly door to door collection of trash and recycling items within the assigned apartment community. As the face of the WeDoTrash, Laborers (Service Team Members) must adhere to our company’s policies and standards of service, timeliness, privacy, safety, and monitoring/reporting.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Collect trash and recycling door to door within an assigned apartment community and transfer to the trash compactor and or dumpster onsite.

Inspect and maintain trash compactors, halls, stairs and floors according to WeDoTrash standards / policy.

Picking up loose and bagged trash from around the compactor / dumpster area.

Cleaning and clearing trash and debris from chute rooms, trash rooms.

Document and report nightly all property hazards and resident non-compliances via company used application

Other duties as assigned.

Pick Up Truck required.

Qualifications and Special Conditions of Employment:

MUST HAVE PICK-UP TRUCK

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Must be able to speak and write in English

Must pass a drug screen and background check

Must have a Smartphone / Android with a data plan and ability to download apps.

Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.

Must maintain valid documentation – Auto Liability Insurance, Driver’s License, etc.

Ability to drive locally and possibly to other properties as needed.

Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.

Flexibility to work during collection hours. Must be available to start at 8 PM & work Sundays

Ability to work outdoors and work/drive in changing weather conditions.

Ability to climb stairs, walk distances, and be exposed to trash odors.

Good communication skills

Ability to interact with residents and property staff with professionalism
