Our engineering consulting client in the Memorial City area is seeking a talented Junior level Water & Wastewater Engineer to join their team.

In this role, you will prepare proposals, scopes of work and contract cost estimates with an understanding of multi-disciplinary team coordination. You will develop alternative approaches and solutions to technically difficult problems.

Key responsibilities include:

· Engineering planning, analysis, design, estimating, contracting, project management, construction and delivery phases for - treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, odor control systems, water wells, and other utility water systems

· Municipal and facility master planning, evaluation, rehabilitation, and expansion

· Building and maintaining relationships between project teams and collaborating to ensure that technical, quality, cost and client requirements are implemented

· Able to be prime contact and manage relationships with clients and coordinate with outside sub-consultants

· Preparing a range of reports to communicate project information to team members, clients, and other stakeholders

· Working closely with project and task team leaders and mentoring to junior staff

· Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· BS degree in Civil, Environmental, Water Resources, or Engineering

· 1-2 years of Water & Wastewater conveyance/ treatment design experience (i.e., pump stations, lift stations, wastewater treatment plants, water line, sewer line)

· Certified EIT required (Texas Professional Engineer registration preferred)

· Experience with AutoCAD

· Hydraulic modeling a plus
