WeTravel (www.wetravel.com) is an online payment platform that empowers organizers and small travel groups to take control of their trip finances, communication, and marketing from a single platform.

Travel organizers are able to quickly build a booking page, securely collect payments, and utilize a travel-focused dashboard to manage all of the administrative tasks involved in organizing a successful trip.
We are looking to extend our team with an MBA intern (or three) to maintain and build upon our success in the MBA travel segment.
ROLE SUMMARY
In this role, you will work closely with the Co-founder/CMO on getting MBA students, and potentially other graduate students, to use WeTravel to organize trips. We have built a strong presence in top US business schools over the past 5 years and collected a vast knowledge about MBA trips. Universities that have used WeTravel include Harvard, Yale, UPenn, Stanford, UC Berkeley, MIT, Columbia, UCLA, UMich, Northwestern, NYU, UChicago, Georgetown, Duke, UT Austin, Cornell, Carnegie Mellon, Purdue, etc.
Your main deliverable will be to reach out to potential MBA trip leaders for 2021-22 academic year. You can also suggest new projects that you want to do to gain experience in travel technology and startups.
You should have a strong can-do attitude, be organized, and target-driven. You should also be comfortable pitching an idea/product over email, phone, and in person.

Additionally, you will receive a base salary, uncapped commission as a percentage of our revenue from MBA trip organizers that you acquire, so our incentives are aligned. The more WeTravel gets, the more you get. Historically, transaction volumes in the MBA segment are in the 7-digit range.
