    THE ROLE

    As WeTravel's voice to prospective and current clients, the Copywriter will develop the business's written marketing communications to impact-fully and creatively–speak to its B2B audience, across multiple marketing channels, in multiple segment groups. 

    As a FinTech and SaaS platform built for all multi-day travel companies, our audience is global and spans multiple travel segments from student groups to tour operators to wellness retreat organizers; the possibilities to create tailored (and strong!) content is endless. As the successful candidate, you will thoughtfully use a unified tone and voice–with varying communication styles depending on audience–that engages all relevant audiences to move each engagement through the marketing funnel to convert to sales.

    The Copywriter Contractor will report to the Global PR Manager, who manages the business's external communications–but must be comfortable working with Product Marketing, Inbound Marketing and Sales/Partnerships Managers/Heads–to unify the business's copywriting, with one voice, to speak beyond our product, but to its benefits to all travel businesses. 

    _A DAY IN THE LIFE _

    • Grasp WeTravel's client segments and understand how a unified voice can be stretched and reworked to best appeal to each segment, without losing its impact
    • Write engaging and succinct copy for marketing-wide campaigns, including email, paid social media, partnerships and sales assets
    • Evaluate current copy (reviewing past emails, partnerships collateral) to identify growth opportunities by understanding what messaging converts and what messaging has been silent
    • Manage multiple tasks from department managers to ensure all copy is meeting the business's tone and voice, while also best speaking to our product and its USPs
    • Edit marketing materials for different departments to ensure the messaging is consistent, while best highlighting our business's product and services
    • Work with Marketing Specialists to distribute copy through multiple channels
    • Evaluate copywriting through key OKRs to ensure copy is resonating with WeTravel's audiences and helping to convert leads to sales and upselling current clients to new products

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

    • 3+ years of copywriting, journalism or marketing experience (preferably email or digital marketing experience)
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Demonstrated B2B content experience, specifically with multi-channel content 
    • Experience working with multiple managers, across multiple departments
    • Strong understanding of marketing's impact on sales conversion, specifically how copy can convert leads into sales
    • Understanding of B2B marketing functions, with experience in a inbound marketing or communications team

    NICE TO HAVE

    • Previous copywriting experience in FinTech/SaaS – or similar
    • Bachelor's Degree in communications, English, journalism – or equivalent

    EXPECTATIONS

    • Part-time, freelance contractor
    • Paid monthly via invoice, no company benefits
    • Sign contractor agreement
    • Workload based on tasks (aforementioned)

    Salary: $1500-$2000 USD Monthly For candidates resident outside the U.S, salaries are weighted according to local factors and considerations.
