Knowledge and Skills Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in either Economics or Finance (course work should involve investments - stocks, bonds, ETF’s & Mutual funds, investment portfolio construction, Asset Allocation theory)
• Professional experience in Financial Services. Preferably in areas dealing with investments (stocks, bonds, ETF’s & Mutual funds) is a plus but not required.
• Enthusiastic team player, self-motivated, ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
• Clear and efficient communicator
• Ability to build relationships across departments throughout Brokerage
• Result oriented individual who is flexible and able to adaptable to change
• Strong focus on customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Heavy phone contact with Financial Advisors and branch office personnel.
• Proficiently utilize all Advisory support applications as well as navigate other system tools.
• Provide proactive education and assistance on Advisory programs with respect to product, policies, procedures, and systems navigation.
• Assist with questions involving new account opening procedures, generation of proposals for active clients or prospects, trading of accounts and training on various program policies and guidelines.
• Drive process improvement efforts through feedback to Department management.
• Work collaboratively with team members by managing call volume and service levels while providing outstanding service.
• Utilize Customer Relationship Management systems effectively.
• Participate in AFS cross training programs to broaden depth of knowledge across Advisory programs.
