    Location: San Diego, CA

    Status: Full-time, In office (one day a week from home)

    Compensation: $70,000 - $75,000

    We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Wealth Management Business Development Associate to support our Strategic Relationships team. This role is essential in serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals and sophisticated professional partners by assisting with planning deliverables, relationship management, and key administrative functions.

    The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, and eager to contribute to a high-performing team. This is an opportunity to gain exposure to advanced financial and tax planning concepts while building valuable skills in client service, operations, and project coordination.     Summary:

    The Wealth Management Business Development Associate will play a vital role in organizing deliverables, managing communication logistics, and supporting process improvements across the Strategic Relationships function. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to juggle multiple priorities, and a collaborative mindset.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Client and Partner Coordination

    • Coordinate communication and logistics with prospective clients and Centers of Influence
    • Assist in the process for meeting preparation and follow up
    • Manage document collection, intake and maintain organized client files

    Planning and Support

    • Assist with the preparation of planning deliverables, including tax projections, balance sheets, pricing analyses and proposals
    • Prepare and send planning engagement agreements
    • Conduct market research to support planning initiatives

    Operational and Administrative Support

    • Maintain accurate activity tracking records in Salesforce CRM
    • Monitor CRM inbox and ensure data is logged and updated appropriately
    • Create and maintain SOPs for the Strategic Relations team
    • Provide general internal support for operational projects and administrative needs

    Calendar Management

    • Schedule meetings with prospective clients, existing clients and professional partners
    • Manage the calendars of Strategic Relations team members
    • Follow-up leads to ensure timely scheduling of consultations and follow-up meetings

    Required Qualifications

    • 2-3 years experience in financial services or wealth management
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Communications or a related field
    • Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and support multiple team members and projects
